PAYDAY 2 is an action-packed four-player co-op first-person shooter in which gamers take on the role of one of four bank robbers as they carry out robberies across Washington, DC.

Players can take on all sorts of jobs - robbing the local jeweler or major banks, kidnappings, and cybercrime on a grand scale. The goal is to hit the jackpot and get rich. Up to four friends can work together on each job. The further the crime spree goes, the better the loot. Not only do players earn more money and become notorious criminals, they also gain new customization options that allow them to design their own weapons and equipment.

As players progress, they can invest more in five special skill trees: Mastermind, Enforcer, Ghost, Engineer, and Fugitive. Each of these can be customized and mastered with the appropriate skills and equipment.
